“ I had such an amazing experience at La Cage in Gatineau on March 19th at around 8pm! This was my first time ever going out alone for a girls’ night, and as a young woman, I’ve always been hesitant about being out by myself at night. My boyfriend encouraged me to take some time for myself, and while he checked in on me, he honestly didn’t have to—because the staff here made me feel so incredibly safe and welcomed! From the moment I walked in around 8 PM, the hostess was so kind and welcoming, and my waiter was absolutely wonderful. I wish I had remembered his name because he truly made my night! The service was attentive and warm, and he made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. At one point, a gentleman approached me—I’m sure he meant no harm—but my waiter kept an eye on the situation from a distance and even checked in a couple of times to make sure I was comfortable and wasn’t being bothered. That level of care meant so much to me, especially being new to the area and not speaking much French. On top of the amazing service, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing night out. I will definitely be coming back—not just alone, but with my partner and friends as well. And I’m in love with this place BEST PIZZA IN THE WHOLE OTTAWA AND GATINEAU, Toronto, Montreal you call it! I have been to crazy amount of restaurants all over the place here, from where pizza cost 90 to 10. Their pizza tastes like heaven! Good job guys!!!! Recommend 10/10 ”
“ This is a great addition to the Plateau area. It needs more of a variety and I’m happy they’ve established themselves there. The restaurant itself is great inside. A nice open concept with plenty of tv screens to satisfy the sports fans. The food was great. I had the poke bowl with salmon and I enjoyed it. The staff were friendly especially the nice hostess. ”
“ We dined at La Cage this evening for the first time. It was probably 7:30 ish when we arrived. The place was packed. Instantly we were greeted and were able to be seated ** WITH POPCORN !! Happy Kid & Hubby. Not even 2 minutes later our drink order was taken and they arrived just as quickly. Same with our food order. It was SO QUICK & the food was Delicious! I recommend their half price wings on Thursday!! What a deal! The place was loud and busy. The music was great and the atmosphere was fun. We watched our server run laps and did so with a smile. overall super happy with the experience and we will be returning. ”

“ No expectations is a good start. First time. I was looking for a quick burger and wasn't disappointed. I got a table without a wait, but just missed the rush. You may want to reserve. I had the Blitz Burger. It was a great burger and their fries are done right. Highly recommended. ”
